Your Exciting Opportunity:

Being part of our Electrical and Controls Engineers team, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future. Working from either Altona, VIC or Wacol, QLD locations, your expertise will be key in designing and executing BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) projects, in close collaboration with our sales department

You will have the chance to influence the specifications and choice of top-notch suppliers and subcontractors, contributing significantly to the triumph and development of our Off-Highway / Energy Solutions Team. Leveraging your expertise and experience, you will support the implementation of renewable energy ventures and establish strong partnerships across different sectors of the company, such as sales, projects, and various engineering teams

About You:

  • Relevant Electrical Engineering qualifications from a recognized institution.
  • Genuine interest and expertise in energy storage systems, including inverters, transformers, and electrical switchgear.
  • Proficiency in power systems and control systems.
  • Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience as an Electrical Engineer specializing in electrical systems design.
  • Hands-on experience with PLC systems and protective relays.
  • Familiarity with AS3000, AS3008, AS 61439, and other applicable standards.
  • Aptitude to choose switchgear and electrical components for auxiliary distribution.
  • Background in working within an electrical switchboard production setting.
  • Capability to generate electrical schematics, single line drawings, preferably using auto-cad electrical.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD software, and business operating systems
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
