We specialise in providing consumers with serious mental illness and their carers:
assessment, diagnosis and appropriate evidenced based treatment

Your new role:

  • You will support Mental Health Tribunal processes and ensure Mental Health Act principles are upheld
  • You will operate between Waratah office (Moonee Ponds) and the RMH
  • You will participate in clinical service development activities within the team and encourage and support quality initiatives and research
  • You will be supported by a supervisor, manager and team leader
  • You will part of a committed, enthusiastic and professional team that strives for the best outcomes for its consumers
  • You will be involved in a service in the heart of Melbourne

About you:

  • Formal qualifications and registration (Registered psychiatric Nurse, Occupational therapist, Psychologist and Social worker)
  • Minimum of 5 yearsexperience in mental health
  • A strong understanding of the legal and ethical principles of the Mental Health Act
  • Function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and enjoy working autonomously
  • Excellent organisation, verbal communication and interpersonal skills**
