The Opportunity:

Veolia ANZ are seeking an Area Sales Manager to join our Environmental Services Sales team based in Kilburn.

As the Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for managing a diverse client portfolio, ensuring retention, whilst exploring and securing new business growth across our Solid Waste line of business.

This role would suit a motivated, customer focused individual looking to take the next step in their career with a global organisation.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing an existing account base across metropolitan Adelaide
  • Developing new business growth by proactively seeking opportunities
  • Monitor the satisfaction levels of customers to provide a quality service that meets or exceeds their expectations
  • Develop and maintain business networks and relationships to promote Veolia's growth across the Adelaide Metro area
  • Managing and scheduling customers via Salesforce CRM

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Proven experience within an account management role, or B2B sales
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in order to clarify, resolve issues, and make decisions
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, effectively prioritise tasks and meet deadlines while driving results
  • Certificate IV in Business or higher, or equivalent workplace experience
  • Intermediate literacy in Google Workspace &/or Microsoft Office
  • Experience in CRM maintenance such as Salesforce is desirable but not essential
  • Fully maintained and reliable vehicle with valid drivers licence
