The Role:
As the HR Coordinator, you will work closely with the Head of Features & Television to implement HR initiatives throughout the growing business.
Under the guidance of the Head of Features and Television, and the Human Resources Manager, you will support the operation in the day-to-day HR functions including recruitment administration, pre-employment screening, onboarding to exits, and ensuring all documentation and processes are compliant with procedure and policy in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
Your key duties and responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:
- Oversee recruitment and hiring process including background check of applicants
- Prepare employment contracts and standard employee letters
- Facilitate the onboarding process endtoend including new starter inductions and managing all stakeholders to ensure smooth program delivery
- Ensure compliance with legislation, policies and procedures
- Update and maintain all employee files
- Support HR activities including training, change of circumstances, payroll liaison, timesheets, employee communications and offboarding
- Provide administrative and generalist HR support to diverse projects and teams
- Arrange freelance artists as and when required
- Assist with managing of timesheets
- Assist with fortnight payroll and updates
Who are you?:
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 1.53 years of experience in a HR administration or coordination role
- Experience or strong interest in the Feature Film & Television industry
- Highly organised with strong written and communication skills
- Work experience in a fastpaced setting
- Confident in dealing with all areas of HR administration
- Strong sense of client service
- Ability to participate in performance and remuneration reviews, succession planning and organisational development
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality
- Marketing experience is desirable but not essential
