ABOUT THE ROLE

Purpose of the Position:

  • Provide additional administrative support to the Operations team supporting the stores
  • Processes improvements to ensure consistency across both stores
  • Provide additional administrative support to the GM of Operations as required
  • Enhance and maintain stocktake procedures

Main Responsibilities:

  • Entering suppliers invoices and performing supplier reconciliations
  • Payment of supplier invoices
  • Processing Stock transfers & Inventory adjustments
  • Liaise with warehouse and stores in regards to Stock Transfers & Dispatch
  • Liaise with warehouse, sales staff and suppliers to the expedite customer queries
  • Following up outstanding payments with customers for stock that has been delivered as required

Role Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to provide a high level of customer service
  • Ability to learn in house systems (experience with Pronto is highly desirable)
  • Previous retail and administrative experience advantageous, particularly within the furniture industry
  • Attention to detail, problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize workload are a must
  • Knowledge of Excel highly regarded
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential
