Position Summary

  • This role is responsible for handling demand planning, supply planning, procurement and batch consumption management ensuring alignment to budget and strategic plans. This role acts as a crucial interface between the planning function and suppliers including other areas of the business
  • Operations, Warehouse, QA, QC, Finance, Process Engineers and Project Mangers. This role is responsible to ensure demands are handled, efficient sourcing of equipment, raw materials, consumables are led, supply planning of material is handled and communicated to various partners and setup contract in compliance with ThermoFisher corporate sourcing requirements to ensure the best deals with respect to pricing, terms, lead times and conditions are implemented.

Key Responsibilities:

Tasks:

  • Maintain Project batch material planning sheet to handle demandsupply of various materials.
  • Assist Project manager and Project Engineers with good faith estimate process.
  • Obtaining quotes and procuring project required materials, supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinating logistics and tracking functions ensuring that goods arrive on site, on time.
  • Communicating with the site team, reporting and updating on all procured items.
  • Demand and Purchase is handled in SAP as per schedule using BOM, Forecast, safety stock.
  • Lead the supplier and material qualification / setup process
  • Handle the Supplier Change Notification process
  • Maintain and handle Price lists in SAP
  • Assist Demand planner as and when required.(Forecasting)
  • Assist in supporting ARIBA activities (Build purchase requisitions).
  • Handle Supplier Business review and performance review process.
  • The role also manages relationships with key suppliers of goods and services.
  • Running compliance around quality handling Deviation and CAPA action.
  • Participative and collaborative management and operational work style enabling one to work effectively across functional groups.
  • Provides relevant support for finance team in invoice processing by collaborating closely with warehouse to ensure invoices are paid in timely manner.
  • Project costing
  • Liaise with Demand Planner to handle Sales order process.
  • Liaise with Demand Planner to handle the batch reconciliation process.
  • Assist finance with cost roll up process.
  • Partnership on special projects as needed.
  • Develop Procurement Key Performance Indicator
  • Improve SAP process. Knowledge_, Skills & Abilities_

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
  • Strong administration skills organised, thorough, systemsorientated with attention to detail.

  • Complete, timely and consistent administration of procurement activities to cGMP standards.

  • Empower staff to be innovative and involved, eliminate waste and solve problems quickly and effectively; always with a view toward meeting or exceeding customers' expectations.
  • Meet customer satisfaction goals for ontime delivery as well as ongoing quality and reliability standards, working closely with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Engineering, Quality and Project Management functions.
  • Develop a successful team by motivating, complicated, and coaching direct reports, ensuring they take accountability and facilitate ongoing personal development for themselves and their teams.
  • Support the manufacturing facility as acting Site Leader when required.
