Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Support Officer (Part Time - 20 hours per week)

  • Support the Outside School Hours Care team to deliver operational and strategic projects for the community

To be successful in this role you will have a conscientious and enthusiastic outlook to assist with the development and implementation of high-quality programs for children aged 5-12 years.

The Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Support Officer responsible for:

  • Undertake family transitions and develop initiatives that promote respectful and collaborative relationships between the OSHC service, schools, and families
  • Work with the Service Coordinator and Inclusion Support Officer to make reasonable adjustment to support families to access care
  • Assist the Service Coordinator to deliver well-documented policies and procedures, well-maintained records, support Educator reflective practices, and support the service to function as a learning community
  • Support the Service Coordinator and OHSC Inclusion Support Officer with an ongoing cycle of planning and review, including engagement with families, and creating a setting for continuous improvement.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED

  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Drivers Licence
  • Certificate III in Out of School Hours Care or Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent relevant experience

Salary range: Grade 10 - $ $34.63 per hour for a 20 hour week plus Super and other allowances. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.

Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
