The Position

St John of God Geelong Hospital is the largest private hospital in regional Victoria providing a comprehensive range of acute services to the rapidly growing coastal city. The modern and up-to-date hospital has a 24/7 accident and emergency department, a comprehensive surgical program supported by a 12-bed critical/intensive care unit, rapidly growing cardiology, medical, rehabilitation, and cancer services. We also offer a high-quality maternity service with special care nursery.


As
Unit Receptionist in the Patient Services Unit, you will aim to efficiently deliver a broad range of clerical duties, using established processes to ensure excellent customer service and admission procedures.


  • Previous experience working within a health care environment will be highly regarded._
Multiple positions rostered shifts are available, including: Nights, Days, Evenings & Weekends in a Permanent, Part Time capacity.

  • A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a frontline Clerical/Reception position.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise work requirements and work productively within a team environment.
  • Highly developed level of computer proficiency, attention to detail and accuracy.
