About the role
The Research Assistant participates in a range of professional research functions, and the delivery of a research support services, under the direction of the Oculoplastic Unit.
The Research Assistant's primary role will be to assist in successful execution of clinical trials and other research studies within the Oculoplastic department and ensure that all aspects of the studies are conducted efficiently and effectively.
This will include the accurate collection and recording of data, maintaining governance approvals and ethics, and assistance with data analysis.
They will also assist to address any concerns that the patient may have in their involvement with the trial and assist in organising the appropriate follow up appointments.
They will ensure all study related documents are up to date and available for both the clinician and patients as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as nursing, biology, or psychology
