Join our team as a Project Marketing Manager and help shape WA's future. With around 200 projects across the State, we are seeking someone who can bring projects to life through creative visuals, innovative experiences and engaging content.

On a two-year fixed term basis, this position partners with Development Managers and Project Communications Managers to provide strategic marketing activities. You will be responsible for the planning, design and implementation of high-quality marketing materials, tailored to the relevant audiences to support project delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement annual project-specific marketing plans including strategies and initiatives that are aligned with DevelopmentWA's objectives, brand, key messages and digital strategy.
  • Develop and implement new project brands as well as manage existing ones, ensuring brand integrity is maintained.
  • Define target audience to understand their characteristics and needs, enabling relevant marketing and effective messaging.
  • Work with Development Managers, sales agents and other key stakeholders to collaboratively determine the most appropriate advertising strategies and campaigns to ensure that each marketing activity is delivered on time, on budget and within the overall project objectives. This includes signage, advertising, outdoor advertising, brochures, radio, social media, Electronic Direct Mail (EDM), sales updates and more.
  • Develop and implement innovative, high quality and evidence-based marketing materials that improve and maintain DevelopmentWA's reputation and are aligned with the brand strategy, strategic direction and project objectives.
  • Undertake regular competitor analysis activities.
  • Collaborate across the Marketing team to ensure effective media spend on campaigns and identify opportunities to maximise return on investment.
  • Develop creative briefs and coordinate the development of materials and publications in collaboration with the Visual Marketing Manager.
  • Develop and manage project marketing budgets.
  • Collaborate with the Communications and Engagement teams for technical expertise and to maximise innovation opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain good internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Organisation, coordination and management of project-related events.
  • Undertake post-campaign evaluation processes to determine campaign success and inform future decision making.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging marketing opportunities to implement at DevelopmentWA.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience in marketing including formulation, implementation, and evaluation of marketing projects, plans, campaigns and programs.
  • High level written communication and editing skills across a variety of mediums with a talent for communicating complex ideas simply and creatively.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively, contribute to the achievement of team outcomes and share expertise.
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to work across and manage multiple projects.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in a related discipline is highly desirable.
