As a vital member of our Business Advisory and Assurance (BA&A) practice, the Outsourced Finance team delivers finance and administrative services to clients across various industries including infrastructure, retail, finance, and technology.

Working closely with our clients enables us to offer valuable insights and tailor advice to meet their specific needs.

About the Role

As part of this team, you will handle end-to-end bookkeeping tasks for a portfolio of clients. This includes addressing accounting and technology challenges, and providing guidance on cloud-based solutions. Additionally, you will oversee the bookkeeping team's workflow, onboard new clients, and potentially supervise staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely processing of payroll, accounts payable and receivables, maintaining general ledgers, cash flow forecasting, and management reporting
  • Reviewing banking activities, preparing workpapers, and reconciling month-end statements
  • Examining Business Activity Statements, Instalment Activity Statements, and other statutory returns periodically
  • Offering advice on cloud-based accounting applications to clients
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to team members
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

Qualifications We're Seeking

We are looking for individuals with relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting or bookkeeping and professional experience in a similar setting.

Technical Proficiency

Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, and the ability to manage multiple ledgers for diverse clients are essential.

Effective Time Management

You should be capable of reviewing work to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction, managing priorities, and meeting deadlines efficiently.
