The Opportunity
The Customer Insights Specialist is crucial in helping achieve key strategic objectives for QBE, its partners, and customers. As a part of the Customer Insights team, you will play a vital role in integrating the customer's voice throughout the organization. You will act as a trusted consultant to multiple stakeholders, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative research to pinpoint opportunities for delivering actionable insights to support stakeholder objectives.
Your New Role
- Assist senior team members in managing various research projects/programs, including Strategic Ad Hoc Research Projects, Voice of Customer Programs, and more.
- Prepare insights briefs based on stakeholder requirements and conduct quantitative and/or qualitative research when necessary.
- Analyze and synthesize data from multiple sources to develop actionable insights for business issues/opportunities.
- Support decision-making processes, strategy development, and tactical implementation.
- Contribute to executive reporting, including Board updates and tracking KPIs for Leadership Teams.
- Collaborate with research suppliers, providing guidance and regular communication on projects.
- Conduct workshops to translate insights into actions and assist in business planning activities.
About You
- Prior experience in market research from agency or client perspectives.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in quantitative research (experience with qualitative research is a plus).
- Familiarity with statistical tools such as Excel and Q, with advanced modeling skills being advantageous.
- Proficiency in survey platforms like Qualtrics, Sparq, Medallia, and InMoment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with keen attention to detail.
- Experience in questionnaire design, data analysis, insights generation, reporting, and storytelling.
- Good grasp of statistical concepts and preferably knowledge of services marketing, financial services, or insurance.
