About The Role

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the SAP Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the SAP systems landscape.

The role is accountable for all aspects of planning and operations including solution design, enhancement and project initiatives.

A managed service provider (MSP) will support the SAP Manager and it is essential the SAP Manager has effective delivery management, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

The role will work closely with key business stakeholders to ensure improvement and value is generated from the SAP system.

This role is based in our Sydney CBD office.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, coordinate and execute configuration, development and testing for project related SAP initiatives ensuring that goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives
  • Works with key stakeholders and third parties to validate scope statements, business requirements, perform analysis and provide recommendations
  • Lead a team of SAP professionals including external suppliers and contractors
  • Monitor and Report on the maturity and performance of the SAP team including third parties through agreed metrics (SLA's, KPI's). Ensure key suppliers are actively managed and services levels are met
  • Monitor and control the maturity and training needs of the SAP user base. Recommend ongoing educational and training programs maintaining adherence to processes and controls
  • Incident Response and Business Continuity develop and test incident response and disaster recovery plans in the event of a critical business disruption
What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 15 years' experience in managing a complex SAP landscape
  • Extensive experience managing vendor relationships, including onshore and offshore arrangements
  • Ability to create compelling business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations
  • SAP functional or technical background, with team management and team development experience
  • Ability to get 'hands on' when required with simple fixes and problem solving
  • Extensive stakeholder management skills
  • Welldeveloped organisational skills and the capacity to be flexible in balancing priorities
