Our Client:


Our client is a commercial construction company that forms part of a diverse property fund who have interests across Australia with a large footprint in Western Australia specialising in premium properties including commercial, retail and industrial assets.

Managing the investment, construction, strategic leasing and asset management they provide end-to-end property services for their portfolio, joint venture partners and investors.


The Role:

Your day as a Procurement/Coordinator for our client will include but not be limited to the below:

Coordination:

  • Assist the Construction team in activities by understanding the goals in each specific project.
  • Scheduling, planning and coordination of activities relevant to workshop/project requirements.
  • Provide progress updates and ensure projects are completed on time and in accordance with the client's directions.
  • Liaising with suppliers and clients on logistics/tracking (must be able to drive)
  • Coordinating dispatches and deliveries with external stakeholders
  • Various administrative tasks and assisting the construction team with achieving project/workshop requirements.

Procurement:

  • Raising purchase orders and coordinating deliveries with operations
  • Overseeing purchases including checking costs against project budgets, ensuring targets are met, etc.
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding price
  • Negotiation of prices
  • Ensuring project materials are correct and meet standard requirements.
  • Complete takeoffs of materials required.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of commercial construction Experience in a similar role
  • Have proficient and efficient organisational skills
  • Highly developed communication skills
  • Have an understanding of construction functions
  • Possess a Current WA driver's license
