Our client, who is a global Premium Fashion brand has an exciting opportunity available for a passionate and enthusiastic Area Manager who is ready to lead, motivate and influence their retail team

The Role:


Reporting to the Head of Retail, the Area Manager will lead and develop the retail team across NSW and Canberra.


In this position, you will:

  • Oversee a portfolio of 18 stores and approx 180 employees.
  • Ensure that stores not only deliver a worldclass customer experience that the brand is known for.
  • Build trusting and strong partnerships within store teams and key stakeholders nationally
  • Managing the Store's performance and being responsible for the commercial outcomes of the stores including sales, margin, costs, shrinkage and profit.
  • Work cooperatively with key departments including merchandise, visual merchandising and HR to develop policies and procedures suited to the operation of stores

Your profile:

  • Proven experience within a similar role with demonstrated success
  • The ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence others and build effective relationships
  • The ability to effectively communicate and lead teams through change
  • Time management and problemsolving skills
  • Retail operations management experience including multisite management
