The role


We have an opportunity for an experienced Machine Operator to produce a high-end quality product as part of a close knit and supportive team located in Maroochydore.

This full-time role, however, you must be flexible to work as part of a shift work structure if needed. The possibility of overtime also exists.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety, health and environment standards are maintained
  • Operate a Columbia Press block machine
  • Diagnose system faults
  • Conduct quality assurance inspections
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Development of team members
  • Management of raw materials

What you will need to succeed

  • Demonstrated experience as a machine operator (experience with block machines highly desirable)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to fault find with machinery
  • Able to work as part of a small team
  • Strong commitment to safety and the environment
  • Forklift and/or front end loader ticket (preferred, but not essential)
