Position Objective
The School Support Officer - Events & Marketing provides services in the form of:

  • End to end coordination and delivery of events
  • Proven client management experience within venues or event services.
  • Excellent event organisation and problem solving skills
  • Extensive graphic design skills and design thinking approaches to enhance outdoor learning spaces
  • A passion for imagination and creativity
  • Experience with social media and communications

Requirements of the Position

  • Support of the Catholic ethos
  • Strong skills in software tools highly desirable (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
  • Proven client management experience within venues or event services.
  • Previous experience with working in a school is highly desirable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to follow directions, prioritise, and meet set deadlines
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills in working with a range of personnel, contractors and external stakeholders
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high quality of assigned work
  • Knowledge and ability to operate complex office equipment
  • Have undertaken and completed skilldeveloping programs relevant to the skills and duties to be undertaken.
