About This Opportunity


We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and customer focused Concierge/Food and Beverage Attendants to support and deliver the service of food and beverages at UQ Brisbane City and provide an excellence customer experience.

Staff are required to fulfil approx. 15 to 25 hours, with essential availability Monday to Friday with some weekend hours occasionally.

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Welcome guest to the Atrium and venue and ensure users of the Atrium abide by the rules of use.
  • Providing excellent customer service and care to our guests.
  • Set up coffee machines across the venue and cleaning of the coffee machines.
  • Meeting rooms set up and welcoming event organisers and confirming event timings on the day.
  • Undertaking general waiting duties of both food and beverages and serving for events.
  • Stock control and general receival and distribution of goods.
  • Set up and pack down of equipment and furniture for conferences and events service.
  • Cleaning and tidying up of front and back of house areas, polishing of plates, glasses, and cutlery.-
  • Any other reasonable request of management.
This is a casual position at Food & Beverage Grade 2 Load rate $35.43 per hour plus 11% superannuation.


About You- Experience in a similar or related hospitality role.- Current Responsible Service of alcohol (RSA) certificate.- Food Safety Certificate.- A positive attitude and customer driven focus.- High standard of professionalism and excellent Customers Services Skills.- A commitment to excellence of product and service.- Teamwork skills.- Ability to work independently.
