As an Account Manager, you'll maximise revenue from a set number of Partner accounts in order to achieve agreed revenue targets / sales quotas and ensure complete Partner satisfaction when dealing with the organisation

You'll be responsible for:

  • Formulate, implement and manage strategic business plans of Partner accounts to achieve Sales revenue / Sales quota targets.
  • Work closely with Partners to determine their present and future needs and propose suitable products, services and upgrades in order to maintain and grow revenue for the organisation.
  • Develop additional business from existing portfolio in line with budget targets while managing income and expense budgets.
  • Act as the main interface when required between the Partner and the organisation, to ensure an optimal level of service is provided at all times and continually seek the opportunity to participate in Partners' strategic business planning processes.
  • Ensure that effective account retention and defence strategies are in place for all Partners at all times to promote Partner retention.
  • Implement and use appropriate sales methodologies, strategic selling practices and effective negotiation skills.
  • Maintain and update all Salesforce KPIs and Supervision and Monitoring requirements
  • Ensure sustainable profitable growth through agreed strategy and action planning with
  • Partners, including but not limited to execution and monitoring of performance against operational benchmarks.
  • Ensure partners adhere to all compliance and legislative requirements

Important to your success:

  • Relevant financial services industry experience with experience managing client accounts.
  • Ability to document and understand market and Partner requirements to identify, pursue and close business development opportunities that contribute to the profitability of the organisation.
  • Good knowledge of relevant lines of insurance and all associated legislation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence.
  • Adept at proactively building and maintaining professional relationships and networks to enhance industry positioning, exchange knowledge and elicit beneficial outcomes.
  • Demonstrates strong presentation skills that are engaging and impactful.
