The Role

The Client Technology Partner is a leadership role within the client technology services domain accountable for delivering MUFG Retirement Solutions Technology services to the client. The main objective is to provide strategic partnership and enablement of MUFG Retirement Solutions technology strategy & assets to meet client's needs. Additionally, responsible for engaging with the Client to define the scope of technology objectives and integration patterns, along with providing IT consulting services when needed. This role supports the Head of Client Technology Services in developing and implementing MUFG Retirement Solutions Client technology and integration strategy.

Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities

  • Build a high-performing team focused on client service delivery, operational risk management, and product knowledge
  • Formulate strategic plans and roadmaps for technology and integration services with Clients
  • Develop knowledge for internal stakeholders and Client awareness
  • Promote technology and integration services actively to Clients
  • Lead and manage teams for service delivery
  • Review and present status reports to Clients and internally
  • Manage Clients' requests and proposals
  • Coordinate communications with Client Partnership and Service Delivery teams
  • Act as a primary internal stakeholder for technology
  • Liaise with internal teams regularly
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for project estimations and other matters
  • Engage resources for timely service delivery
  • Ensure alignment with Risk, Security, Audit and control frameworks
  • Ensure principles in control frameworks are understood and embedded
  • Consider operational impacts and security requirements
  • Ensure all outstanding actions are addressed promptly

Experience & Personal Attributes

  • Experience in delivering technical services and technology consulting
  • Knowledge of technology services, API's, and integration patterns
  • Ability to plan strategically with a commercial focus
  • Lead technical resources effectively
  • Manage escalations and provide support
  • Act as a liaison for IT-related issues
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders
  • Effective communication skills
  • Analytical and solutions-focused approach to technical issues
  • Understanding of IT incident, problem, and change management
