An exciting opportunity has become available for a Knowledge Management Advisor to join the Knowledge Management and Continuous Improvement team under the Chief Operations Office (COO) - Strategy and Performance.

The Chief Operations Office keeps the Bank running and powers our customer obsession.

We process and execute the majority of all processes across the Bank supporting the Retail, Business, CommSec, Institutional businesses with banking, lending and markets operations, along with running regulatory operations and Group regulatory projects.

Strategy and Performance contributes to the strategy by providing leadership and governance on the COO's strategic agenda, ensuring the health of all the programs in our portfolio, managing strategic workforce planning, as well as giving operational support to our customer-facing business counter parts.

Your will work as part of the Knowledge Management and Continuous Improvement team within Operational Excellence, Strategy and Performance.

The role:


As Knowledge Management Advisor, you will be a change agent with capacity to influence and engage a diverse group of stakeholders in order to provide content control, assurance, revision, publishing and reporting of all information stored in our COO's Knowledge Management system.

The purpose of this role is to ensure COO standard operating procedures and process documentation are fit for purpose, accurate, relevant, and current.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist content owners with content preparation, editing and formatting to ensure consistency across COO
  • Provide reporting and analysis of content usage
  • Ensure all published content is up to date and compliant with relevant policies
  • Provide quality assurance and version control of all content prior to publication
  • Publish content in a timely manner (within agreed SLAs)
  • Manage the Knowledge Management system configuration (including roles, access requirements, etc.)
  • Manage Knowledge Management system's additions, moves, and deletions
  • Provide ongoing training and support for content owners, champions and process experts
  • Continuous improvement mindset to potentially identify business improvements
  • Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues throughout our COO division and Group CBA
The person we are looking for must have the following demonstrated experience:

  • Experience in knowledge/information management, change management, technical writer preferable in the finance sector
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Manage effective communications with stakeholders and business SMEs
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and a strong customer focus
  • Ability to facilitate and lead workshops to deliver SOPs within tight timelines
  • Project Management skills, schedule and time management, critical thinking and problem solving
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders and nominated business SMEs
  • Good risk awareness and eye for detail
  • Proficient with MS Office, SharePoint and use of electronic document templates-
  • Demonstrate Group CBA values
  • Web content creation, preferred but non-essential
