The role:

Keller Australia are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.

This role will manage our plant and equipment yard in St Marys which supports our NSW projects as well as our business Australia wide.


Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the workshop maintenance and yard activities to meet operational requirements
  • Identify and manage labour and resource levels to meet delivery timelines against planned activities
  • Prepare, review, and manage workshop and yard budgets
  • Understand equipment performance, capability, and costs to provide input into tender submissions
  • Provide knowledge of fleet performance including all breakdowns and maintenance activities
  • Identify training and development opportunities within the workshop and yard teams
  • Ensure safety is a top priority to ensure a zeroharm environment
  • Manage the plant and equipment needs for projects in accordance with the national plant manager

About you:

To be successful in this position you will have:

  • Demonstrated management experience within a similar role
  • Trade qualifications as a fitter, diesel mechanic or hydraulic mechanic or maintenance engineering experience (mechanical/electrical)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within the piling industry
  • Experience in leading and managing teams
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive work ethic
  • Full working rights for Australia
