Our client, a global multi-billion-dollar agricultural company with a presence throughout North & South America and Europe, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Third Party Risk specialist to join their Australian operation on an initial 9 month contract, looking to commence 1 April 2024.

This senior role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to expand the third-party risk management program's influence.

Key responsibilities include identifying, assessing, monitoring and managing risks associated with external third-party partnerships to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist in the global rollout of the TPRM program
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of thirdparty vendors
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and contract reviews
  • Provide guidance for mitigating identified risks
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for incident response
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on risk management activities

Exciting Responsibilities for Role Creation:

  • Develop and implement innovative strategies for building the foundation of the thirdparty risk management program
  • Shape the framework and requirements for suppliers in alignment with regional and global cybersecurity standards
  • Establish processes and procedures for thirdparty due diligence, risk assessment, and mitigation from scratch
  • Lead the formulation of contracts to ensure optimal cyber security coverage
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to create a cohesive approach to thirdparty risk management
  • Design and implement training programs to enhance awareness and understanding of thirdparty risks across the organisation
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the TPRM program
  • Proactively identify emerging risks and recommend proactive measures to mitigate them
  • Lead crossborder collaboration efforts to align thirdparty risk management practices globally

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in third party risk management
  • Industry certifications (CTPRP, CISSP, CISM, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with security compliance regulations and frameworks

Work Location and Style:
This position is based in Docklands, Melbourne with the option for Hybrid work.
