Kid's United OSHC is a well-established family run business, providing quality vacation, before and after school care programmes, with majority of our services located in the Gregory Hills, Camden, Campbelltown, & Liverpool Local Government Area, from Camden South to St Andrews, and surrounding suburbs.

The opportunity

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a passionate and energetic educator to become a valuable member of our Kids United OSHC team.

This role involves working a variety of hours from Monday to Friday during school terms, with additional opportunities during school holidays for our vacation care services.

To be considered, you must be available to work at least four afternoons per week, ideally Monday to Thursday. We'd love to hear from you

Hours of operation:

Before School Care: 6:30am-8:30am

After school care: 2:30pm-6:30pm

Vacation care: 6:30am-6:30pm

As an OSHC Educator at Kids United OSHC, your role will include

  • Assisting in the delivery of a high quality, educational, safe and fun program
  • Provide programs which align with the framework 'My Time Our Place'
  • Communication and engagement with children, families and other team members in a positive, productive and respectful manner
  • Identify and respond to children and young people at risk
  • Support the development of children
  • Ability to support administration
  • Supervision of children
  • Light cleaning duties
  • Preparation of breakfast and afternoon tea
  • Attendance at monthly staff meetings

Essential Requirements

  • Must be available to work 4 afternoon shifts
  • Willing and able to work, sometimes with little notice
  • Willingness to learn
  • Valid Working with Children Check for paid employment
  • First Aid certificate (including CPR, anaphylaxis & asthma management and emergency first aid response in an education and care setting) or willingness to obtain prior to start
  • Ability to work effectively as a team
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with the children, parents and staff

$ $34.97 per hour
