Catholic Healthcare is undergoing exciting developments. With over 30 years of care, 5000+ employees, we are seeking a dedicated HR Business Partner with experience in Corporate Support Services for a 12-month parental leave contract. This role offers a chance to contribute significantly to our organization's growth by collaborating with Senior Leadership to achieve our objectives.

Our diverse HR team of 63 professionals handles payroll, HR Business Partnerships, and other specialist teams. A career in Aged Care, while challenging, is highly rewarding and fast-paced.

As the subject matter expert, you will provide advice, solutions, coaching, and support on various people matters crucial to our strategic objectives. Your role will involve building strong relationships, influencing decisions, and adapting to changing workforce requirements.

Main responsibilities:

  • Establishing strong client relationships with senior executives in the Corporate portfolio, offering HR advice and solutions
  • Providing expert advice, maintaining up-to-date Position Profiles and aligning remuneration data with organizational goals
  • Specializing in managing employee relations and performance matters
  • Guiding leaders on effective people management strategies, including development and succession planning
  • Collaborating with HR peers to ensure consistent implementation of policies and programs
  • Analyzing people metrics, identifying trends, and providing data-driven recommendations

The ideal candidate must be motivated, organized, and possess exceptional HR skills and knowledge. Requirements include tertiary qualifications in HR or related fields, extensive experience in fast-paced industries like Aged Care or Health Care, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in Corporate portfolio HR partnering
  • Effective coaching, facilitation, and influencing skills
  • Thorough knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret HR data and drive decisions
