You will be responsible for

  • Completing assessments on motor vehicles for repair cost or total loss, and ensuring customers have access to swift resolution of complaints, including repair warranty, service-related matters, and other concerns.
  • Adhering to motor assessing procedures, guidelines, parts policies, severity coding requirements, and repairer standards.
  • Utilizing repair cost benchmarking, alternative parts reporting, and scorecards to enhance repairer performance where suitable.
  • Contributing to the enhancement of customer service provided by selected and non-selected repairers.
  • Whenever feasible, producing total loss reports within 24 hours of assessment.
  • Focusing on customer insights and feedback, prioritizing our customers' best interests in all actions.

About you

  • Trade qualifications as a Panel Beater, Spray Painter, or Motor Mechanic.
  • Ideally, experience as a repair estimator along with being a qualified Panel Beater and/or Spray Painter.
  • Familiarity with motor vehicle repair techniques and experience in quoting damaged vehicles.
  • Current Driver's License.
  • Strong computer skills, exceptional organization, and time management abilities.
  • Prior exposure to Motor Vehicle assessing practices (preferred).
  • Experience with Audanet and/or Estimage will be advantageous, though not mandatory.
  • Able to commute to the Sydney Metro area daily.
