The Opportunity


This exciting new role will report to the Operations Project Manager and will play a vital role in the day-to-day support and administrative tasks of the Projects team within WA.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Enforce compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and all statutory and regulatory legislations
  • Ensure cost efficiencies, safety and timeliness and achieve the highest level of customer service and satisfaction
  • Receive enquiries and job booking from customers and schedule transport ensuring safety and responsiveness to achieve the highest level of customer service and satisfaction possible
  • Receive enquiries and tender requests from customers and provide quotations within required timeframes
  • Provide operational guidance to the driving group including subcontractors.
  • Generate job sheets ensuring information is accurate & Pos provided by customer. Ensuring job sheets are then costed correctly and provided in time for weekly invoicing.
  • Establish and manage customer relationships with key customers, suppliers and the subcontractor workforce
  • Closely manage all variable costs associated with running the Project operation
  • Assist in providing strategic direction to Project operation and fulfilling strategic obligations
  • Drive through process improvements
  • Contribute to and create business development opportunities to grow the operation
  • Manage staffing levels and overtime
  • Maximise utilisation and return on assets
  • Ensure appropriate policies, procedures and organisation structures are in place to support customer delivery expectations and ensure compliance

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in the Transport & Logistics industry highly regarded
  • Highly developed organisational, planning and computer skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and part of a fastpaced team
