We are currently seeking a talented Sales Administrator to join our client, a global corporation in the Transport, Postal, and Warehousing industry.

Based in Laverton, (with flexbility to work from other branches if more suitable) you will support the Australian sales teams within the Asia Pacific segments.

As a Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for various systems and sales administration tasks, reporting, data analysis, and providing crucial support to the sales, customers, and stakeholders.

Our client is a leading global corporation with complementary business units focused on designing, manufacturing, distributing, and servicing diesel and natural gas engines.

They specialize in various technologies, including fuel systems, controls, air handling, filtration, emission solutions, and electrical power generation systems.

As the world's largest independent designer and manufacturer of diesel engines, our client's Distribution Business Unit plays a vital role in reconditioning diesel engines and managing the storage and distribution of engine spare parts.


Description

  • Perform a range of systems and sales administration tasks, including customer order processing, purchase order creation, invoicing, delivery requests, forecast updates, stock checks, sales commissions, and endofmonth financials.
  • Consolidate and distribute sales reports, gather data from others, and provide forecasting input using existing templates.
  • Conduct internal sales analyses, such as variances, projections, costing, and bundling, based on documented tasks.
  • Conduct adhoc and repetitive analyses on external sources, research assigned opportunities through secondary research, and compile relevant competitive data.
  • Communicate effectively with different audiences, deliver clear and tailored messages, and understand the unique needs of customers and stakeholders.
  • Take on new opportunities and challenges with urgency, energy, and enthusiasm, displaying a proactive and actionoriented approach.
  • Build strong customer relationships, prioritize customercentric solutions, and deliver exceptional service.
  • Collaborate and partner with team members and stakeholders to achieve shared objectives and meet targets.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Movex or a willingness to quickly learn and adapt to new programs.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information to diverse audiences.
  • Actionoriented mindset, displaying a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
  • Customerfocused approach, building and nurturing relationships while providing customercentric solutions.
  • Collaborative nature, working well with others to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Familiarity with Movex is highly desired, or a willingness to learn and adapt to new software quickly.
  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant certifications or licenses for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations, if required.

Movex experience is highly desired, if no Movex experience then they must have a willingness to learn a new programme fast.
