As the Senior Associate Asset Management Advisor, your primary role will involve supporting our major clients by delivering Strategic Asset Advisory services across Australia and New Zealand.

This will entail engaging across various industry sectors to offer strategic asset management guidance and assisting clients in developing suitable and sustainable infrastructure responses through enhanced asset management practices.

As a member of our national Asset Advisory team, you'll focus on establishing strong relationships with our clients, understanding their challenges, and delivering tailored solutions that contribute to our successful project history.

Here's what you can anticipate being involved in:
  • Conducting asset management maturity assessments and formulating asset management strategies and plans.
  • Creating asset portfolio performance evaluations and investment prioritization models.
  • Collaborating closely with clients to establish other fundamental elements of ISO55001-aligned asset management systems.
  • Overseeing small to medium consulting projects in line with Jacobs' project management standards to achieve successful client and commercial results.
  • Cultivating trusted partnerships with our clients.
  • Actively identifying and pursuing consulting project opportunities by collaborating with team members within the Asset Advisory team and across other business units, as well as developing effective networks within Jacobs to identify growth opportunities and deliver integrated services that provide added value for our clients.

To be successful in this role, you should possess a robust background in strategic asset management across multiple industry sectors, with at least a decade of professional experience, including direct client involvement in a consulting environment.

  • University-educated, with a degree related to asset management consulting or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in developing critical components of ISO55001-aligned asset management systems and a solid grasp of industry best practices in strategic asset management.
  • A strategic and innovative mindset, coupled with problem-solving abilities and strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and engage effectively with clients.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to work autonomously and as part of a team, even across multiple locations, and under tight deadlines.
  • Strong Excel skills for supporting data analysis and modeling would be advantageous.
