The Opportunity


KBR's Aerospace team is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler Level 3, to support our RAAF customer within Future Air Mobility SPO (FAMSPO) to support the establishment of an accelerated capability delivery project.

The Project Scheduler L3 is required to achieve the following outcomes:

  • Revise and update where necessary the Open Plan Professional (OPP) Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) so that they are inline with appropriate industry standards,
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of FAMSPO project Integrated Master Schedules,
  • Preparation of schedule reports (including cartoon schedules) for estimates (biannually) and reporting meetings (PPRIP, HoG, Project Performance Review, and MPGR monthly meetings), and
  • Identification of potential risks, issues, and opportunities in regards to project schedules.

Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

  • Demonstrated competence and experience as per skill level
  • Advanced Practitioner or above,
  • Demonstrated competence and experience in using the OPP tool,
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and reporting on CASG schedules,
  • Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate an ability to meet demanding milestones,
  • Demonstrated experience in the Defence Aviation environment,
  • Demonstrated experience in the management of complex projects,
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic business advice,
  • Demonstrated experience in ASDEFCON Suite,
  • Demonstrated experience in the current One Defence Capability System,
  • Effective Effective written and oral communication skills,
  • Knowledge of Defence Writing standards,
  • General familiarity with aircraft systems, and
  • Knowledge of internal Defence processes.

This role requires a current NV1 security clearance.
