This branch sits with the larger Regulatory Assistance Section (RAS) which plays a key role in the provision of information to internal and external stakeholders.

The Section is part of the Regulatory Engagement Branch which manages the Agency's committees, the government, media and the general public, as well as overseeing regulatory planning, performance reporting and the scheduling relating to the Poisons Standard.

In addition the Branch provides staff with library and research services to assist with regulatory and policy decision making.

To be succesful in this role you must be able to demonstrate experience in;

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the daytoday IT operations and delivery of an enterprisewide enquiry management system
  • Identify problems, work to resolve them and maintain excellent networks to achieve the deliverable.
  • Overseeing and escalating service requests relating to IT systems used in TCC
  • Welldeveloped administrative, coordination, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Perform analysis and preparing documentation/reports alongside support the development and maintenance of a suite of policies and procedures.
  • Provide surge capacity support for the Enquiry Management Unit.
  • Exeperince in collection of data using multiple platforms to deliver concise and clear reports and communication

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and has an aptitude for collaboration and negotiation with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Poses high level of computer literacy, attention to detail and a focus on delivery in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise multiple tasks, respond positively and flexibly to change, and produce quality outputs.
  • Have an ability to create a collaborative and innovative environment to foster continuous improvement and a positive culture within the team.

Desirable but not essential

  • Have an understanding or background in a regulatory framework, medicine or science, or the ability to quickly acquire such knowledge will be desirable
  • Project management experience with IT background working with IT systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Bi or similar.
