We're seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Guidewire and financial services to assist with a large migration program.

This position requires a deep understanding of Guidewire and prior experience in business analysis within the insurance industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and scope.
  • Utilize your extensive Insurance domain knowledge to provide valuable insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Execute migration-related work, ensuring smooth transitions and minimizing disruptions to business operations.
  • Work closely with technical teams to gather functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and external partners.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment and delivering solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user stories.
  • Lead and participate in workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst, with a strong preference for prior Insurance domain knowledge.
  • In-depth understanding of Guidewire and hands-on experience in executing migration-related work.
  • Ability to analyze complex business processes, identify gaps, and propose effective solutions.
  • Proficient in gathering and documenting business requirements, process flows, and user stories.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with technical teams and business users.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) and advanced degrees in Business Administration or a related field are highly desirable.
