About the Role:


We currently have position for a Program Lead in our new specialist therapeutic program supporting young people with harmful sexual behaviours.

This role will oversee the operation of the program in addition to working directly with young people with harmful sexual behaviours and their caregivers.

The role is diverse in that it involves coordination of the various elements of the program including advocacy & case management, therapeutic assessment & intervention, collaborative and multiagency working, program administration, and direct clinical practice.

Additionally, you will support the clinical team in the development and delivery of evidenced-based therapeutic support for young people and their caregivers engaged in the program.

Part-time or full-time options will be considered for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will bring the following:
A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or related discipline with specialist knowledge and experience relevant to the role.
Eligibility for membership in the relevant professional association.
Demonstrated experience of successfully managing a specific program or project
Demonstrated ability to lead a multidisciplinary team

A demonstrated commitment to collaborative working and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across a range of stakeholders including caregivers, government, and non-government agencies.

Demonstrated expertise and experience in successfully leading and providing direct service in clinical assessment and therapeutic interventions for children, young people, and families.

Advanced skills in providing supervision and secondary consultation.

A deep understanding of the challenges that influence the lives of both families and young people and the capacity to thrive in a challenging and complex practice environment.

Highly Desirable
A postgraduate qualification is highly desirable
Registered psychologist with Clinical or Forensic endorsement
Ability to supervise clinicians for registration purposes
Advanced knowledge of theoretical frameworks and interventions relevant to this role.

The successful candidate must have current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a WA Working with Children Check (or equivalent), and a current WA Driver's Licence (or equivalent).
