About the Role
7.30 is looking for a dynamic journalist to join as a Producer.
You will find compelling original stories and oversee them from start to finish - presenting them in innovative ways.
Reporting to the 7.30 Executive Producer, you will:
  • Create engaging current affairs pieces on diverse topics
  • Assist in producing same-day stories, conducting interviews, and contributing to team projects
  • Stay informed on current events, developing a network of contacts
  • Contribute to long-term projects
About You
The ideal candidate will have experience in television producing with an eye for original content. You should also bring:
  • Strong understanding of TV production techniques for long form stories
  • Skills in producing sophisticated current affairs content
  • Knowledge of political, social, and economic issues with a good network of contacts
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Familiarity with 7.30 production style and cross-platform filing
  • Experience in video production is a plus
