Position Summary:


HRG are currently recruiting for Transmissions Linesworkers in South Australia, this is a permanent and full time position with great pay rate and an 11/3 roster.

Every fortnight you get a 3 day weekend and your overtime rates for two weekends per month are guaranteed.


The role would require Transmission Linesworkers to carry out maintenance and construction tasks and ensure this is done safely, efficiently and within budget.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Works a variety of structures and line voltages from 66kV to 500kV
  • Trenching, lifting, and climbing poles for installation of underground cabling and overhead bucket work.
  • Installing and repairing poles, cables, and electrical equipment related to overhead transmission systems.
  • Operating a variety of different equipment with a commitment to WHS of yourself and others, at all times.
  • Use technology to complete electronic and paper reports to ensure work and details are recoded.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified Electrical Linesworker with a minimum 2 years experience.
  • Current Certificate III or equivalent qualifications in Electrical Transmission
  • South Australian Electrical Workers Licence (Transmission) or the ability to obtain one
