Hours:
Full-time role (38 hours per week) with hybrid working options

Contract Length:
Temporary position (2-3 months), starting as soon as possible

Salary:
$35.50 per hour + superannuation

About The Role

Ready to make a difference? Our client is looking for a dedicated Debt Collection Officer to join their team.

As a crucial team member, you will be responsible for managing debts, delivering exceptional customer service, and contributing to the financial welfare of the community.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Handling incoming inquiries, calls, and requests for payment arrangements or financial difficulties.
  • Providing timely and precise responses regarding debt management and issues related to Rates, Valuations, and Property.
  • Monitoring payments and taking appropriate actions for missed or failed payments.
  • Offering relevant information and guidance to customers via phone, email, or in person on payment and overdue rates.


Job Requirements:
To excel in this role, you need:
  • Prior experience in Government/Healthcare/Education/NFP/Public Sector in a similar capacity.
  • Experience in customer service, particularly in handling Financial Hardship cases.
  • Strong financial and numerical skills.
