About the role
The Maintenance Fitter and Turner role is to ensure plant and equipment is maintained so that optimum levels of productivity are available

Your duties would include:

  • Assist in the maintenance of an effective workforce by conforming to company employment policies and conditions and being alert to sensitive employment issues.
  • Provide maintenance and support for the Stainless Steel and Commercial manufacturing areas.
  • Work on and build new machines as designed by the Engineering Team or yourself.
  • Ensure that safety is kept of a high importance and that all work is carried out in a safe work method to Health and safety guidelines.

About you
The role would suit a qualified Fitter and Turner with experience and who is committed, motivated, energetic, and reliable

You will also have:

  • Mechanical trade qualification (Fitting & Machining) or equivalent
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of the team and individually
  • Understand and comply with Workplace Health and Safety standard
  • Strong technical attitude and heightened sense of urgency
