Maintenance Fitter role for Immediate start

**About the Role**:

- Routine preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on all mechanical plant and equipment
- Complying with the organisation's policies including - safe working practices, occupational health and safety
- Use various hand tools to fit and assemble parts, which require knowledge of principles of mechanics;
- Complete planned, unplanned and requested maintenance tasks effectively;
- Ensuring that hazards are identified, and risks are assessed and controlled. Acting immediately to stop any observed unsafe act or condition
- Communicate with stakeholders to resolve breakdowns and perform preventative maintenance to minimise downtime; and
- Conduct proactive breakdown analysis and identify problem areas of the plant

**What you can bring to this role**:

- A Trade Qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (Australian Trade Recognised)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical fitting, welding and fabrication
- Understanding of PLC operation
- Proficient with conveying equipment, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Available for shift work from Monday to Friday
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand schematic drawings, plans and specifications.
- Demonstrated ability working within a fast-paced environment
