The Opportunity
We are seeking a person who is highly motivated, enthusiastic and has a 'can do' attitude working in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide secretarial/administrative and project support to the Director City Delivery and Directorate staff.
- Liaise with and maintain a highly effective relationship with elected Councillors.
- Establish, upgrade and implement effective systems and procedures within the Director City Delivery control and recommend organisational systems development where appropriate to ensure efficient and effective systems are set in place.
- Undertake research, lead projects and write reports and correspondence in support of the Director City Delivery.
- Schedule and coordinate the functions and commitments of the Director City Delivery, inclusive of external relationships.
About you
_ To be successful in this role you will have the following:_
- Experience in an executive assistant role at a senior level. Relevant qualifications in secretarial/administration are desirable.
- An ability to prioritise and manage competing demands and deliver effective outcomes.
- Strong written and oral communication, public relations and customer service skills.
- Ability to solve complex problems, project support, undertake research and prepare reports.
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence.
