About the role
We have a 12 month opportunity within our Data & Analytics team based in our Leederville office, for an
Analyst - Spatial Intelligence to support our mapping and visualisation.
What the role will involve
- Provide technical expertise in spatial data management and data services, geospatial reporting, analysis and representation of location information in a spatial environment to achieve required business outcomes
- Produce spatial, cartographic and 3dimensional visualisation products suitable for print and presentation purposes
- Develop, implement and maintain geospatial data using techniques and tools to efficiently deliver required outcomes
- Develop spatial data solutions and deliver spatial data products to meet the data needs of the business, it's stakeholders and collaborating partners
- Support the development of standards and procedures involved in the management of spatial data within a strategic framework
- Provide advice and training on the use of GIS, spatial data management, location information to business units, capital projects and external partners
Key skills and experience
You will have, or progressing toward a degree in Geography, Geographic Information Management, Computer Science, along with experience in geographic information systems and data management products (ArcGIS, GE Smallworld, FME, AutoCAD is desirable).
Your demonstrated ability to improve business processes or operations using spatial data and geographic information systems will ensure future success.
