Bis is seeking a permanent Group Manager of Innovation and Commercialisation to lead the strategic development of Bis' innovation portfolio and to execute the commercialisation strategy for Bis' innovative products and services.

This is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role at Bis.


As the Group Manager of Innovation and Commercialisation, you will be responsible for driving the successful development and commercialisation of Bis's innovation portfolio, as well as maximising commercial value from the portfolio's development.

You will play a key role in advancing the development of Bis's innovation portfolio.

No two days will be the same.

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for managing the entire process of product commercialisation, including market analysis, opportunity identification and evaluation, product trial development, marketing, expansion into new markets, creating commercial responses, price modeling, contract structuring, risk management, and closing deals.

You will make important decisions throughout the product's lifespan based on commercial opportunities and maximizing value. Every day will bring new challenges and responsibilities.


To excel in this role, you should have experience in product commercialisation and familiarity with the mining/resources, transport, and logistics industries.

A strong understanding of innovation and new product development processes, as well as experience working with mobile mining equipment, is preferred.

In addition, you should have experience managing in a complex, diverse, multi-site business, and a strong external network with knowledge of industry trends, particularly in heavy/mobile equipment, green energy minerals, and hard rock mining.

Expertise in managing joint ventures, cultivating new industry partnerships, and successfully leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders, along with excellent communication skills, will be highly advantageous.


Last but not least, the Bis Head office is based in Osborne Park with available parking, close to public transport and has an in-house gym, cafe and swimming pool available for use.
