Your Opportunity


In this newly designed role, you will work as a part of Mission Australia's team facilitating the design and development of service and innovation to deliver quality programs that meet the needs of the community they serve.


Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Work with team and key stakeholders to regularly strategize, plan and prioritise a pipeline of tasks.
  • Collaborate across the organisation to design, document and test service models, improvements and innovations.
  • Lead the local team in the delivery of program requirements to clients, as per the agreed operating procedures and guidelines
  • Use human centred design methods to problem solve and engage stakeholders in creative design processes.
  • Responsible for the coordination of delivery of the service commitments in order to achieve the required client outcomes.
  • Develop and nurture effective relationships with your stakeholders.

Requirements for Success

  • Strong social/ publicsector experience or social innovation experience
  • An understanding of how services can be adapted or implemented to better meet the needs of the community they serve
  • Proven ability to build strong and respectful relationships with all stakeholders
  • A genuine passion and commitment for social impact and innovation
  • Proven ability to synthesise and analyse complex information from a range of sources
  • Strong written communication skills
  • The ability to understand performance data and financial implications
  • Strong problem solving and strategic thinking ability
