We now have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Development Manager to join our Investment & Development team based in Sydney.

About the opportunity


As an Assistant Development Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our Development teams in various operational aspects, contributing to the successful execution of our development projects.

Your responsibilities will include comprehensive project preparation, research, and planning activities, as well as tracking project outcomes. Additionally, you will assist in the annual budget process, preparation of development feasibilities, and all necessary documentation. Your role will also involve preparing formal correspondence and presentations, updating development programs, and managing stakeholder relationships.

Other tasks include:

  • Prepare formal correspondence and presentations.
  • Update basic development programs.
  • Develop and manage stakeholder management plans.
  • Stay informed about the current market trends and share valuable insights.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support and adhere to strategies and targets as communicated by Development Managers.
About you


To be successful in this position, you should possess a tertiary qualifications in development, property, real estate, finance, or a related field, ideally with proven experience in design management, construction, property development, or a similar role, with a minimum of 2-4 years of experience.


Key skills and attributes that we are looking for include:

  • Solid commercial, legal, and financial acumen.
  • Indepth knowledge of the development industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and project management skills.
  • Excellent decisionmaking, influencing, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
