The Opportunity


This full-time opportunity is fantastic for an enthusiastic and energetic individual with a strong customer focus to fill a Patient Service Assistant role in our busy hospital.

This role will see you working with an assisting clinical staff, and completing orderly tasks such as:

  • Transporting patients between wards and departments
  • Cleaning and linen / waste removal
  • Fetch and carry equipment and supplies

Your Skills and Experience

  • Possess Certificate lll in Health Service Assistance
  • Demonstrated experience as Patient Services Assistant / Hospital Orderly
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effective within a team environment and independently
  • Be available for a range of shifts across a 7day rotating roster (although most shifts will be PM Mon
  • Fri).
  • A strong willingness to learn and develop a working knowledge of hospital procedures
  • Motivated and positive with a high level of attention to detail.
