About the Role:

As the Sterilisation Services Team Leader you will be responsible for coordinating and safe and timely disinfection and distribution of medical equipment across our

Your role
duties will include:

  • Lead the reprocessing of reusable medical devices in compliance with AS/NZS 4187:2014,
  • Promote continual improvement among Sterilisation Technicians,
  • Ensure adherence to WH&S policies and procedures,
  • Collaborate on training and development programs,
  • Coordinate with Nurse Managers for timely equipment provision.
To be
successful in this role, you will have:

  • An AQF Certificate IV or a AQF Cert III and experience and at least 560 hours satisfactory in service experience within a sterilisation department
  • Strong communication and leadership skills,
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety,
  • The ability to foster a workplace environment that develops staff potential.
