The Sterilisation Technician position: 

We are currently looking for a Sterilisation Technician to assist our team of highly skilled professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional service and the best quality of care to our patients. To be successful in this position you must be a team player and have the ability to think outside the box  
This is a 2 day part-time, permanent position with the potential to increase days overtime. 
  
Duties will include but not be limited to: 

• Clean and sterilises surgical instruments and other hospital equipment
• Understand the principles of, and be familiar with steam and hydrogen peroxide plasma sterilisation
• Comply with infection control policies and procedures
• Maintaining theatre space stock levels
• High attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team

To be considered for this position it is essential that you have: 

• Certificate lll Sterilisation Services 
• A minimum of 1 year, full-time experience as a Sterilisation Technician
