Taxi Driver

Intro:

Eureka Taxis Western Victoria Pty Ltd (Eureka Taxis / Eureka Maxis) is seeking dedicated and professional individuals to join our team.

We have various roles from standard taxi drivers through to our Maxi/WAT drivers.

You will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to passengers.

Your primary goal will be to ensure the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of our customers while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a taxi vehicle, following all traffic laws and regulations.
• Provide courteous and efficient service to passengers, including assisting with loading and unloading luggage, shopping or other belongings.
• Respond promptly to customer requests and inquiries, including providing information about fares, routes, and destinations.
• Maintain a clean vehicle, both inside and out, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant environment for passengers.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while representing us.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate pickup and dropoff locations and to report any issues or concerns while on the road.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely, providing passengers with receipts as needed.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding customer service, safety, and vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Valid Victorian Drivers License with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a taxi driver or in a similar customer service role preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of local streets, neighborhoods, and attractions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
• Physical ability to lift and carry luggage or other items as needed.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing, as required by law or company policy.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable and punctual attendance.
