A fantastic opportunity exists for a talented Financial Controller to join a high-performing team. Reporting to the CFO, you will manage a small team and have a broad and diverse range of responsibilities, including:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day general accounting functions.
  • Managing all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly board reporting and annual financial statements.
  • Coordinating and overseeing the preparation of audited financial statements and regulatory filings in both Australia and Singapore.
  • Working closely with the CFO to develop cash flow forecasts and support commercial decision-making.
  • Managing relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.
  • Developing and maintaining financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Monitoring cash flow, liquidity and treasury to optimise financial performance.
  • Collaborating with other departments to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
About the role

Skills and experience we are ideally looking for:
  • CA/CPA qualified.
  • Proven experience in a financial leadership role within a blue-chip corporate.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
Other skills and experience that would be ideal but are not essential:
  • Experience within an ASX-listed environment is a definite advantage.
  • Interest in/knowledge of the Crypto industry.
  • Previous experience within Fintech or financial services.
