About your role

This role will work closely with the Reliability and Engineering Manager, Maintenance Supervisor and the Reliability Engineers to schedule and coordinate the maintenance of all plant equipment on site, as well as develop and implement planning strategies to improve reliability and minimise downtime.

The ideal candidate for our maintenance team must have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and thrive in fast-paced environments. They should be adept problem solvers, strategic planners, and effective collaborators across teams.

What you'll do

  • Plan, schedule, and budget maintenance activities while managing resources efficiently.
  • Respond swiftly to plant breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • Implement strategies to improve reliability, reduce costs, and prevent production losses.
  • Drive preventive maintenance efforts to maximize equipment uptime while ensuring safety.
  • Maintain compliance with manufacturing equipment regulations and safety standards, including oversight of external contractors and documentation management.

What will help you succeed?

  • Proven sound experience in Preventative Maintenance (PM), planning and scheduling including the implementation and management of a CMMS
  • Experience using MEX or similar CMMS
  • Extensive experience with shutdown planning/scheduling and coordination
  • Ability to problem solve (including the ability to conduct a root cause analysis and make recommendations)
  • Trade Certificate or Engineering degree desirable
