Your role:

  • Supporting adults with complex mental health, psychosocial disabilities and intellectual and physical disabilities in an independent living model.
  • Following positive behaviour support and care support plans as directed by clinical teams and site managers.
  • Encouraging capacity building to enhance clients' current skills, such as hygiene, safe relationships, domestic duties, using public transport and accessing the community safely.
  • Promoting choice and control and show eagerness to participate in clients' day to day routines, goals, and interests.
  • Efficient in computer skills and report writing

Some of our requirements:

We are aware there are quite a few compliance checks (listed below) for this role however, what's important to us is that you have regular access to your own car and a P2 NSW Drivers Licence or higher and flexible availability across a 24/7 roster which may include, mornings (6am-2pm OR 7am-3pm), afternoons (2pm-10pm OR 3pm

  • 11pm), active/sleepover nights (10pm6am OR 11pm7am).

Please note:

successful applicants will be required to hold a NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and a Working with Children Check.

If you have lived or worked for a continuous period of 12 months or more in another country within the last 10 years, a certified International Police Check from that country/countries will also be required.

As part of our Covid-19 response the Scope Covid-19 policy requires all our employees regardless of the job to have received at least 3 doses of a Covid-19 vaccine.
